This sight was very helpful.I raised two
baby house sparrows last summer and hopefully again this year to.Last summer when I raised Pester and Chester a larger bird had came and pulled them out of their next while they were about 4 days old.I couldn't just leave them their so I took care of them.I wish I could have kept them for longer but the birds were to wild and I had to release them. When I found your sight today, it made me feel better that I know someone else besides me is doing this...I loved the sight and I think you should keep doing what you are doing.

Hey Indica!
So glad to find your site! Sounds like you have a pretty busy household. Miss your posts on the message board.
Although we lost our old male House Sparrow, Killer Bird, in November of last year, a new Starling (Beep) has come into our lives. The Starlings spend more time on us and around us than any of the other birds we have had for the most part. Yes, knowing them and having them in your lives, does change opinions of them. It is wonderful to have a bird that you would normally not get close to be close enough to appreciate the intricacies of their plumage and the sparkles in their eyes.
Take care and best wishes in 2001! P.S. Hiya Ringo and Barb!
