Served with HA(L)-3 from June 67 to June 68. I was a Gunner/Crewchief with Det-1 and Det-4. I'm one of the bald guys on the Seawolf History page from det4. I believe I was the only ASM2 (Ground support) Crewchief in HA(L)-3 and now the only Combat Aircrewman still flying. God speed to all. A great group to be a part of. Thanks, ALW

Served with HAL3 from 6-67 to 6-68. Was a mechanic on the Huey's. Was only on a det for a very short time. HAL3 was a very special outfit with a "can do" outlook. It is great to see that the old friendships of 30 some years ago still flurish.
Love, Respect and Brotherhood to all

I was a Seawolf pilot at Vinh Long from Feb to June of 1968. Served with LCDR Rosenthal (OIC), Lt Everret R. Miller, and Ltjg Tom Kruel. Maintenance test pilot back at Vung Tau until Aug 68 when I had a short-shaft failure on a det aircraft test hop; Banged up and sent home as a result of the ensuing crash. Now retired after 30 years service. Fond memories of all the guys I served with. Can't remember all the names anymore, but the door gunners we had were dedicated, hard-working and deadly accurate. Was nice to have them covering our rear ends when we broke off a target. Was just cruising the net when I penned in "Navy Seawolves" in the search engine and this was one of the sites that came up. Prompted a lot of fond memories
