Great site. I am looking for info. Our local war memorial has a Huey that was with the 611th Trans Co Ds from April '70 to July '70. Tail number 67-17288.We are trying to find nose art that was once on this 'copter. If anyone has info please let me know. We are doing a tribute to the 'copter and are trying to put as much info about it on the tribute. It is still in great shape and is part of a beautiful memorial. Stop by Munster, IN and see it. Worked in airframes shop in Vung Tau in 67 and 68. Flew maintenance hops with LT. Tom Driver and LT. Dan Glover.I am a plank owner.Go to the HAL 3 web site and look at the picture of the hanger. I was the one that painted the Famous Us Navy Seawolves sign on the wall.Does anyone remember this? Some of my buddies were David Durham,C.C.Powell,Eddie Patton,Roger McElhiney,Chief Benson,Chief Cella,Chief Strickland. Anyone heard from these guys.

I joined the HC-1 team on the USS Tortuga in early '66, Rockwell and cooney and the rest were our Navy pilots, and we were flying with Army pilots in the right seat when I got there, and navy pilots and crews before I left. I spent 5 months plus on the old Tortuga and the Comstock, lots of hairy flying, but only the damn water bothered me. Larry
