Was in Airframes from 11/70 to 11/ 71. Thanks for this site. I have not been in contact with my shipmates, but remember the friendship and sense of pride in supporting the flight crews. If anyone remembers please get in contact.

Just wanted to let all 70-71 Seawolves know how to reach me. I was SW35 at Ca Mau, and Safety Officer later. Also sometimes known as Porno-Wolf (wonder why?) I check SW site daily

Thank you for your site..Former Det 2 Door gunner.. April 71 to March 72. Found Rickey Pryor on your web site..Also former Det 2.. I called and talked with his Mother, She tells me Rickey shortly after returning home was in a freak accident and broke his neck. For some time all his connection was his computer.. Ironic that a brave shipmate and fellow seawolf would return home to die as a result of an accident...

I was PowerPlant's Shop Supervisor, HAL-3, at Binh Thuy, Nov. 70-Nov. 71. This site has a nice start, hope to see it continue to grow! This is another good site to make contact with old friends from HAL-3. A SEAWOLF BROTHER and Member HAL-3 Seawolf Association

Great site! I was a Seawolf pilot from May 67 - April 68. Started out at Vinh Long (Det 3), flew some with an Army Gun Platoon, the Mavricks, then down to Det 5 on USS Jennings County, Harnett County, Hunterdon County. Had great OICs, George Crowell & Ralph Schwartz, HACs Roger Hulson, Bill Meneeley. Great door gunners; John Brown, Ron Paletta, Ron Gilliland, and others including our maintenance people.

I was an AMS-2 in Airframes at Binh Thuy. My nickname was Windy- I was usually drunk or stoned when not on duty. Thank God I've recovered. Names I can remember are Chris Borris, Tom Nowack, Bob Rosado (who, sadly, died in a car crash shortly after returning home to Honolulu. I was there from 11/70-9/71. I just remembered two more names- Whitey and Charles Purcell (personnelman) e-mail me and God bless us, everyone!
