I was stationed in VL from Feb 67 -July 69. I worked primarilly in the ammo dump. We had the Seawolf team located along the runway and tried to keep their revetment filled at night with 2.75. The Seal team "helped" me blow some ammo once and nearly the last! Ah the good ole days. I see you have a picture of the market in VL. Do you have any of the Long Chau restaurant, located nearby? The same one that Charlie blew when some friends were having chow there. I have little to no memorabilia from there and interested in sites which jogs the memories.

Enjoyed your site, takes me back.
I was a U.S. Army Advisor working in The District of Binh Dai, from March
1967 to March 1968. It was located at the mouth of the My Tho River, and the South China Sea. We conducted a number of Operations with Seawolf, and The PBR's working out of The Town of My Tho. Their call sign was Druid Patrol. I returned to that location back in 1994, and will return once again. Thank you Seawolf, and Welcome Home.
