We are sold on the Scotty breed. We had a male Scotty who lived to be 14, now we have a 7 year old female. They just can't be beat as house pets and companions. When you lose a Scotty, part of your heart goes with them.
What a joy they add to one's life.

and obvious dedication to the breed.
Thank you for putting into words and
photos what I have always felt in my
heart but couldn't beging to describe
in the manne you have, thank you.
Rosie is beginning her 13th year in
her life and ours. She is my best
friend and flops, fraps and wallers
over every sq. cm of wallspace. I find
myself trying to think about life
without her as a way to prepare that I
won't have her forever. Do you have
any suggestions? Do you think a
puppy would help Rosie regain
some youth and be alive longer?
She is extremely agressive to other
dogs especially on her leash. We
have never been successful to
socialize her and quite frankly that is
who she is. Angus my sister's 9 year
old male died last christmas and he
was Rosie's only friend and the only
dog she shared a house with. I'm
considering a puppy but it may break
rosie's heart. On the other hand it
may give her a purpose in training up
the pup.

I greatly enjoy hearing about other
scotties and the people they own. My
two siblings, McGee and Molly are 3 1/2
years old now. We walk twice a day 1/4
mile and each one is a truly new
adventure. They choose to spend alot of
time sniffing and digging in the ivy, so
our adventues can be very extended.

John, you have a wonderful and informative site. The best I've visited. Our 8 yr old scottie, Kirby, thinks he is the mayor of the neighborhood. He loves the attention. Not too many scotties in my part of the city.
