My GGG-Grandfather, Archabald McEachern along with his wife Sarah McKinnon left Tobermory in 1806 with their family for Prince Edward Island, Canada. I plan on taking my parents to Mull in 2006, The 200th anniversary of "The Humprey's" voyage to PEI. I will plan on a visit the Historical Centre.

A most interesting site. One of the signatories of the letter, Duncan McCormick, was my great grandfather, another signatory, Donald McKinnon husdand of Mary McCormick was his brother in law. My grandfather Archibald McCormick, the youngest son of Duncan McCormick & Catherine Campbell, emigrated to NZ in 1879.
