Just came across your site and I would be very interested in the McTavish name mentioned in the Female line of descendents of Donald Livingstone and Cirsty (Campbell) Livingston. I am looking for information about Archibald MacTavish (1711-1778) who lived with his wife Jean Campbell (1716-?1763) and family on Mull where Archibald was a Minister for nearly 40 years in Salen. Have Managed to trace Jean Campbell's family back to abt. 850 but have no idea where Archibald was born and who his parents were. Can anyone help? In advance, many thanks. Regards Kirsten McTavish

My great great grandparents were John (b.abt. 1821) and Mary (b. abt. 1827) McCormick. Their eldest son, John was born abt. 1847, shortly before they were cleared. Do you know our history? Thank you.
