MY LITTLE MIRACLE BABY
JAHQUAE JA'MOND MOORE
EVERYONE CALL YOU A MIRACLE BABY,BUT THERE IS A REASON WHY GOD LET YOU STAY.
YOU WERE JUST A POUND AND TWELE OUNCES BUT OVER TIME YOU'VE IMPROVED SO MUCH.
TO ME YOU'VE BROUGHT JOY AND HAPPENIESS BUT TO MY HEART A WARMING TOUCH.
I SEE YOU EVERYDAY AND YOUR SMILE IS FILLED WITH LOVE.
AND EVERY NIGHT I THANK THE MAN UP ABOVE
IT SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY YOU WRE BORN, AND I WAS HOLDING YOU IN THE PALM OF MY HAND.NOW YOU'RE WALKING,TRYING TO TALK AND OUT PLAYING IN THE SAND
I SIT AND LOOK BACK ON EVERY STEP AND THINK TO MYSELF THAT YOU HAVE HAD A LOT OF HELP SOMETIME I THINK ABOUT ALL YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH AND I WONDER WHAT IF YOU HADN'T MADE IT OUT
HOWEVER I KNEW WE HAD GOD ON OUR SIDE,SO THERE WAS NO DOUBT
IT WAS'NT LONG BEFORE YOU STARTED SHOWING POSITION SIGNS OF STRENGH AND OUR DREAMS CAME TRUE
BECAUSE WE KNEW THROUGH ALL OBSTACLES GOD WAS WITH YOU
TO THIS DAY I STILL GET DOWN ON MY KNEES AND PRAY THAT YOU'LL LIVE A HEALTHY LIFE EACH AND EVERYDAY
YOU'RE GETTING BIGGER NOW BUT YOU'RE STILL OUR LITTLE MIRACLE AND GOD HAS PLANS FOR YOU AND IF YOU STICK WITH HIM,HE'LL ALWAY BRING YOU THROUGH.
HE HAS BROUGHT YOU THIS FAR AND THERE'S NOTHING LEFT TO SAY
I'M PROUD AND I AM HAPPY YOU WERE ABLE TO SEE YOUR FIRST HOMECOMING DAY!
FROM:YOUR LOVING
GRANDMOTHER
WANDA HOOPER &
SAVANNAH MOORE
MAY GOD KEEP ON BLESSING YOU

Our precious litle daughter was born on the 5th December 2001, 15 weks early weighing 1lb 11ozs. She is now weighing 3lb 1oz and at the moment thriving. I say at the moment because any parent who has had a baby in SCBU will know that it is one hour at a time. Our darling daughter suffered a pneamathorax at 2 days old, a IVH at birth, has had 10 blood transfusions, a platelet transfusion, contracted memingitis and E-coli, she is having lots and lots of jerky movements that are bieng controlled by drugs but she is still with us and with every problem comes a joy. She is sucking on my breast and at only 31 weeks gestation that is remarkable, she is gaining good weight, she screams the place down when she is hungry and has a dirty nappy. She certainly has a mind of her own. We pray every day for her safety and no matter what the outcome she will be much loved and cared for

Our son was born at 24 weeks due to my sudden and severe onset of pre-eclampsia (toxemia). He weighed 460 grams (one pound) and was 11 inches long. They told us he wouldn't make it at first, and even called us at 2:30am after one week to drive an hour to the hospital to say goodbye to him, but after 4 months in the NICU and overcoming many challenges, he made it. Some of these complications include a pulmonary hemmorrage & surgery to close a duct in his heart (PDA), ROP in both eyes and laser treatment, bone fractures, apnea, many NEC scares & eating problems, hernias & hydroceles. He is now 9 months old (really 5 months) and weighs 15 lbs. He is smiling and laughing and cute as ever, and LOVES to eat! He is on home oxygen because his lungs are damaged from being on the ventilator for 11 weeks. But they think he'll heal himself and come off oxygen by April. He gets monthly RSV shots & is visited weekly by Early Intervention. They say he has muscle stiffness and severe delays but we're working with him to help him move and stretch and gain his strength. They don't think it is CP but we have to wait to see. We are so proud of our little "Duffer" (his nickname) and so blessed that he is finally home with us. We cherish every second we have with him, and smother him with love and kisses. We wish anyone going through this strength and courage and love.

I had my son, my first born child at 27 weeks. He was born weighing 2lbs 8 ozs and 14 inches. That was on March 1, 1999. He is now almost 3 and thanks to the NICU where he spent his first three months of live he is doing great now.Now the problem i fear is having another child. Nobody could tell me the reason i had him so early, The only thing i was told is if i were to have another id spend the pregnacy on bed rest how do you do that with a toddler who is so precious to you...
