well i was a young mother who had a premature baby, she was 2lbs.and 13oz and she was real tiny, i ws scare but i knew she make it through and now sense she 2 years-old and very bright and smart and know mostly everything, i wouldn't trade her for the world.

my little girl was born at 28 weeks due to preeclaimsia. she was 1lb. 9.2ozs. and was 13.5 inches long. as scared as i was i was also happy. she now is 7 pounds and she is so amazing... becasue of stories i heard it was easier for me to get through this.

My beautiful daughter cam into the world 6 1/2 weeks early. she tipped the scales at 4 lbs 15 oz and was 18 in long. the doctors told us she wouldnt be going home with us the night befor she was born. I spent the whol night praying that my baby would live to go home. after three hours of labor Olivia popped in to the world. I was unable to see her befor they wisked her away but her daddy said she was beautiful. after al the worrying and crying the doctors told us they were amazed by how well she was doing. she didnt need oxygeon and she was never hooked up to anything, the only thing that was missing was her eyelashes and eyebrows. which came in when she was three weeks old. she was released three days after she was born. we call her our little mircial. with out Gods grace she wouldnt have made it. she is 17 months old and going strong. she has had no complications and her doctor said she couldnt even tell that Olivia was a preemie. were a little scared to try for another due to all the complications befor birth, but hopefull the second time around God will shine his grace on us again.

Hi, I was born at 2:21 AM today, December 01, 2006. I am my daddy's first child. Please pray for my mommy and daddy and me that we all be okay. I wasnt due until the 1st of March 2007 so I have arrived at 26 weeks and I weigh one pound and point two five ounces. I'm a fighter though. I squeezed my daddy's hand today. He told me not to squeeze so tight.

Hi there!, great to see that there is a website for paerents of prem babies to go to. I was born 11 weeks prem, weighing 980g in 1981. I enjoy knitting and have knitted items (mainly hats and booties) for prems and have donated some to the hospital that I was born in. Thinking of you all Joeline

I was a proud mom of twin boys that came 25 weeks early, 1 pound 8 ounces dominic and 1 pound 10 ounces santino....but we lost our little angel santino to numeral medical problems after 3 weeks....his big brother is still in the nic unit and doing well...we hope he comes home soon ... we know his baby brother is looking after him from heaven
