I am very proud to be loved and owned by Ch. Trace who is featured on Cherie's website. Cherie not only captured our Trace's personality as an adult, but also during his difficult puppy stage. Trace was a "bottle-baby" as we lost his precious mother, "Tulsa", 3 days after having the puppies. We put our heart and souls into the raising of this very special litter as did Cherie into the making of this beautiful portrait. Even though Cherie's work is very affordable, it is also very priceless which is evident in every portrait she creates. What a special tribute to a very special friend...we will treasure this forever!

Cherie drew my "Rainbowbridge Baby" Dylan for me and it is absolutely beautiful! I will treasure it always! Everyone that sees it can't believe the way his personality shines through. I also have a slate that is wonderful and I will cherish it also. Thank you Cherie for sharing your special gift with me!

One winter, there was a vicious snowstorm in the West Texas town in which I was attending college with my wife-to-be. At the time, we were living in a little rent house next to an alleyway a few blocks from school. The temperature stayed below 0 for several weeks in a row after the storm. One day, during that cold snap we noticed a little pup hiding in the shadows in the alley near our house.
We both thought this little dog would never survive the winter, and she was far too shy for us to get anywhere near her. So we'd leave food for her and we donated an old blanket for her to snuggle in to try to stay warm enough to survive.
Eventually, the weather got warmer and so did the little puppy. She finally got over her shyness and came to live with us. That was 17 years go.
We never called that little dog anything but 'Puppy' because we never thought she'd survive that winter. She not only survived, she became an integral part of our family for the better part of two decades. She went everywhere with us and did everything a good dog can ever hope to do in a lifetime.
She was not only a very intelligent animal, able to understand more than 60 English words and phrases, she was the most loving animal I've ever known. Her primary goal in life was always to please.
Last January, Puppy passed away at home in our arms. She's buried now under an old Texas Oak tree near the creek where she used to rollick and chase wild geese and ducks.
In July, we celebrated our 16th anniversary, and I asked Cherie to render a portrait of our old friend as a present for my wife. That portrait now hangs above the fireplace in our family room. It's there not just because it helps us remember our old, dear, friend. It's also there because Cherie captured her spirit of love and friendship like few artists could.
Thank you Cherie,
Timothy Martin

Just a note from a satisfied customer!
My wheaton terrier, "Hudson", was immortalized by a pet portrait by Cherie. The portrait looks terrific, hanging on the wall in our dining room!
I presented the portrait to my 10 year old daughter as a surprise gift...she was THRILLED!
