Morning ya'll! Well we finally got some wet stuff, I had 2 inches in the tube this morning and it looks like we will get some more. The Lord knows that ol' Okeechobee ocean needs it! David C I am glad to see that you are doing better! My prayers and thoughts are with you! Debbie I know all about yankees, I sleep in the same bed with one every night!!! They are different, even though mine has been in Florida since 1981 she is still a yankee. One year when we went up to yankee land for Xmas it was the same year that the movie "Gettysburg" came out, I had not seen it yet, so while up there I went to see it. When I returned from seeing it, My yankee inlaws snickered and asked me what I had thought of the movie. I told them after seeing the part about Pickett's charge, that I was DAMN proud to be a southerner!!!! That shut them up!!!! Later ya'll, come on people post and let us all know what you are doing!!!!! Mudcat

Well, I've made it through the nuke attack (radiation treatments) and am still ticking! Now, 30+ pounds lighter, all I want is to be able to taste food again. I could gain it back through this feeding tube, but I want to taste any new pounds that I put on. Thanks for the concern and prayers, the Lord has really blessed me with a situation that could have been much, much worse. All it needed was a little more time and I would have had almost no chance of recovery. The way my cancer was discovered is somewhat of a miracle in itself. Also, this loss of weight has allowed me to stop taking blood pressure medication. I know none of you have had to take any yet, but just wait. It's good to hear from those of you who have sent messages or called...new good friends are harder to find than hen's teeth!
