I haven't been to this site in a long time I usually hang out on the "other" PHS site. I am recupating from having a busted appendix, I think i am going to make it everybody remember the grassy waters festivle in Pahokee on the weekend of Nov 23.

It is great to see this website. I have enjoyed reading the guestbook. This has brought back so many memories. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to relive PHS. Graduated in 1979. I hope to see more alumni from all of the years.

Just found this website. Noticed we have Jerry Parker listed as deceased from the Class of 1971. He attended Canal Point Baptist Church this morning, so I am happy to report he is not deceased. Charlie and I still live in the big city of Canal Point. Would love to hear from everyone.

BRENDA PEACOCK ASKED THAT I POST LETTING YOU KNOW THAT ABBO PEACOCK DIED TODAY. HE SUFFERED A MASSIVE HEART ATTACK. AS MANY OF YOU KNOW, ABBO HAD RECENTLY BEEN DIAGNOSED W/LUNG CANCER. HE HAD UNDERGONE TREATMENT AND THE CANCER WAS ERADICATED. THE ONLY THING REMAINING WAS A CYST, WHICH THEY WERE GOING TO REMOVE. DURING HIS PREOP FOR THIS SURGERY, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT HE HAD A HEART BLOCKAGE. HE HAD A STINT PUT IN, BUT HAD NEVER REALLY FELT WELL SINCE THEN. HE RECENTLY HAD A LUNG BIOPSY DONE AND THERE WERE NO CANCER CELLS IN THE LUNG OR IN THE SURROUNDING LYMPH NODES. HE DID, I BELIEVE HAVE PNUEMONIA. TODAY HE WAS TO HAVE ANOTHER LUNG BIOPSY DONE TO DETERMINE THAT HE HAD RADIATION PNEUMONIA AND TO MAKE SURE THAT THE CANCER HAD NOT REAPPEARED. WHILE AT THE HOSPITAL TO HAVE THIS PROCEDURE DONE HE SUFFERED THE HEART ATTACK. I HOPE THAT I HAVE GIVEN YOU THE CORRECT INFORMATION AND PLEASE FORGIVE ME IF I HAVEN'T.....HE AND HIS FAMILY HAD BEEN THROUGH SO MUCH RECENTLY....THIS WAS VERY UNEXPECTED. PLEASE KEEP ABBO'S FAMILY IN YOUR PRAYERS.

Hi all!! Hope everyone is doing well. Please keep in mind those that have lost loved ones recently. The Lewis Pope family, Leslie Hatton Shackford with the passing of Bobby, and Johnny Spencer and Jane Spencer Bline with the passing of their mother. Let's hold each other up in our thoughts and prayers and hold our friendships dear. May God Bless each of us.

Hi everyone. Though I didn't graduate from PHS ('69), I attended there during 8th and 9th grades. I did grow up in the Glades however; my father worked for USSC. Both parents are deceased now, and so I don't get down there very often. Kindest regards to all. Wayne
