Hey guys... I crashed the reunion from the classes of 69, 70 and 71. I met Jan Unwin (class of 69) there, started dating her again 30 years later and WOW! We are getting married Feb. 14. 2001. Jan is a SWEET HEART as are all the women from Pahokee. I am one lucky man to have found Jan after all these years. Thank you Mudcat for letting us know. Oh, how many of our memories tie back to Mrs. Sims in the library. Remember how she was hard of hearing even back then and we would pretend we were talking (moving mouth, hands etc but not making a sound) and she would "SH-H-H-H-H-h" us. She really was a great lady, especially to put up with all of us Pahokee kids thru MANY years. Mrs. Sims...thank you for all that you did for us ...we thank you and will miss having you inthe physical world with us...God speed you to beauty and His love...

Hi all! My mother just phoned me with the news that Mrs Elsie Sims passed away yesterday (01-15) The funeral is Friday at 10 Am at the Methodist church in Pahokee. She was always one of my special teachers.
