Howdy all. Well, Dave now that you are the BOSS...can we all come work for you? I am sure you will pay all your ole Peehokee friends well, top benefits and 2 mos paid vacation...right? Oh yeah, and a turkey at Christmas! Surely you have a special package deal for those who are 50. Of course that doesnt apply to me (was asking on Judys account). Joan,you will be neighbors with Collins soon! Sharon Rowlett Prevatt lives there too. Actually a bunch of Pahokee people there in Chobee. Hey, Keith S....where are you?? Judy, I forgot to tell you that really the absolutley only way to bring in the 50 thing is you GOT to go streaking. Hear it makes you feel young again. Specially in Vero, cause when all those old men see you young thing of 50 running by they will be shouting Oh, baby, baby. Debbie, hope you get that AL campground done by abt July 10th so we can stop by on the way home from he Ozark Mtns.

Judy, I was told that once you reach 50 there are two things you always lose. The first is you memory and I can't remember what the second thing is. Anyway, I can't remember what questions a bright person like myself would have that I would have wanted to ask the doctor you mentioned. So, I guess I didn't ask them. Is anyone else having a problem remembering things like that?

Keith, I forgot to tell you that Joan E-mailed me a picture of you. It sure doesn't look you, but you look great. I was looking in the other Pahokee website & saw an old picture of Mr. Lampi and a more recent picture of Jerry Peacock, it sure doesn't look like him either. The only way I knew it was him was they put the names under the pictures. I guess I probably changed too.

Hey Keith, remember when we tied you to the dynamite tree; the one with the trunk full of spikes (no pun intended)? God, I miss Pahokee. I remember all the beautiful black muck. My mom has an old picture of me & Alana Martin in the tub. The water was jet black! My feet were always permanently stained black because I always went barefoot. My feet were sure tough then though. I could run on anything. Now that I'm wearing shoes all the time I can't even step on grass barefoot without it hurting. Remember the fireworks at the pier? I have so many good memories of Pahokee I wish we all could go back there & just start over and make it a wonderful place to live & raise kids like it used to be. My husband, Michael, & I bought a lot on the canal going into the lake in Okeechobee for retirement. That's the closest we'll ever get to Pahokee. I sure miss it & everybody there.

So great to hear from everyone - These sites have brought many friends back together and many, many memories. Hank, Merry says that she missed the big day because her little dogs were not well and that she would like to celebrate together - we will all have to get together and do that!!!!! Anyone else wanting to join - please come along. David, did you ever post your questions to my doctor on Metobolic.com. Dr. Pepper is great and more than willing to address all issues on his site. Jackie, thanks for the update - sorry I have not gotten back - really busy over the past couple of day. As I read your e-mail, I remembered those many nights when we were very young - your parents were lots of fun. I now know that I too can handle the big day - I have a great support team!!!!!! lol
