Mudcat, you sure been busy on the other website. Looks like you got a full time job being the keeper of the lights. Maybe you can get a fire going under the buts of some of the people on this site. Judy Todd, haven't seen you in quite a while hear brother Doug is going to be your cheerleader. He will make a good one. Jackie V. I remember the skating ring days how about you. I haven't had on skates in 15 or 20 years. Susan that was a good message about the school and really our society now days. Looks like we need lots of serious praying to bring forth some real miracles and soon!

Thanks for the idea Susan - sounds great - everyone around this community at 63 does look 50. They have all had some help. Collins, you are right - I am glad to have almost made the big "50" - I too am lucky to have had many wonderful years. I really do not remember having trouble with Mr. Scott, however, I do remember many, many times having to explain why I was late to Mr. Lampi - not an easy task. He to just liked to frighten the students - really I believe he loved working with the PHS students. Susan - how do I hit "spellcheck" before I say - I'm done!?????????????

Susan the nickname was "Molemouth" He wasn't such a bad guy, Even tho he warmed the seat of my pants (mostly when I was in Jr. High) I got alone with him good and he helped me out of a tight spot a time or two. Judy and any of the rest that have the BIG "50" coming up, On mine I thanked God for letting me make it that far and asked him to let me make a few more milestones in my life.

Next year I get to that age Judy and came up with a plan. Whenever I am asked my age, I am going to say that I am 63 so that the response will be..OH, you look so young...you are in great shape..how do stay looking so young,..why you look abt 50...HA. Maybe all of us should get together in the next year and give ourselves a major 50 party!
Oh, Mr. Scott...Thank goodness I never met his paddle! Then there were those meetings with Mrs. Lane....Mac Carver can tell a very funny story abt Mr.Scott...Mac if you see this tell that story...hint...His nickname ...I think probably one of the most scariest moments for many PHS students was when Fess would look over those half glasses and give you the look...shudder..

Susan what you posted is so true!!! If any of you have been reading post over on the other PHS site, you will see that some of us were talking about getting our butts scorched by Mr. Scott. Back in the good old days at PHS you got out of line you were sent to him and he would gladly warm your seat!!
Maybe thats what they need to put back in our schools is the good ol' Board of Education as we called Mr. Scott's paddle. The biggest problem is that the ^%$#$%^ liberals have got in control of our system. Ya'll remember this when you go to the polls at voting time and please vote against any liberal canidates!!! Ok I'll step down from my soapbox for now.
