Love the site! From NYC originally, I got my 1st haircut at Woodstock. Hoping for great concerts this summer at Fresno and Tahoe.

by the way - just for the record - I was briefly married to Sal Lombardo (Uncle Meat from Frank Zappa's film) and I wrote a poem that had a line in it - you might recognize it. That would be "railroad tracks, deserted shacks, and weeds that grow in the sidewalk cracks." The rest of this poem can be found at my website in the poetry section but it was also in a song I wrote called Midnight Weeper." I sang it all over the village. I didn't get famous however but one of my lines from that song did. Biggest compliment of my life albeit a left handed one. :)~

Hi - I am an old face from back in the folk singer days in the Village and it saddens me that some of the folks are never mentioned - like Jacky Hall who played and sang and was part of the Fred Neil groupie thing although she adored Michael Mann who played some of the best guitar I ever heard till he went mad. There was me, Buzzy Lindhardt - Steve Stills before he got famous - Richie Havens and his manager Magic Jack Solomon - Richie was married to some gal Nancy at the time. So many names - let's see- how about Juan Marino aka Jonathan Talbut Pankin who played Flamenco guitar and hung out at the rienzi aka the frenzy. Anyway, hi and hope you're still kicking. If so, maybe you'd like to drop me a line and say hello.

None: it's all and then some been said about him all ready. His life is like the Tolkien trilogy: filled with fantasy.
If he could start all over knowing what he knows now: would he do it different? I know I would, all of it.
