Very charming site. Nice to see someone concerned with his clothes, which I have always thought were very distinctive. My favorie is the lean leather look from 1986. The first images I ever saw of him were from from Hard to Handle, and I was very impressed and still am; it's as cool as the rabbit suits from 66.
One thing you haven't mentioned is the silk shirt phase of 96. Gold, red, white, baby blue -- I saw one of those concerts and he wore one open and unbuttoned over a tshirt and just lounged it up. That was when he tried singing without picking up a guitar at a lot of shows, so maybe there was something he was trying to reach for.
Also, on the polka-dot front, you notice that the shirt he is wearing on the cover of TOOM is a polka-dot shirt.
There is one fashion thing I have never gotten. THere are a few pictures with him in a black jacket with some kind of script on the uppper sleaves, in the bicep area. The cover of Hard to Find v1 shows this jacket. I have always wondered about the strange symbols.
Also you never mention his concert t-shirts, with the eye logo. I have always wondered what kind of symbol that was.
