Shihan Aviles Sr, It's me Angel Lorenzo, my first encounter with the ryu was in 1997, where i meet Felix Vargas and Shinan, prior to his death, afterwards i trained under Shihan Estrella, where i meet Sensia Nick Harison, after Shihan Estrella's death i trained for awhile under your leadership and nick Harrison, i still train in the ryu with Sensia felix and have also been with Shihan Medina and Palzer, receiving the rank of 3rd kyu (brown belt)while with them, i'm now living in the Isla Del Encanto, training in the art of Shotokan Karate, My instructor has requested i share the ryu with him, i informed him i'm not authorized as an instructor and need consent prior to sharing the little bit of knowledge i have, so this message is not just a hello, but a request for authorization to share the knowledge, I just learned that there is an okinawin karate instructor in the town of Carolina, who has been authorized by Shihan D. Rahming to teach and promote to the rank of 1st Kyu. Sinse i don't have such authority to promote then whatever knowledge the Shotokan instructor obtains from me will be evaulated by him (the okinawin karate teacher)and he'll obtain his promtions from him. I love Miyama-Ryu and would love to train with anyone in the Tampa area. I studied Sekai-Ryu Ju-Jutsu for a long time and found out that the "founder" of Sekai-Ryu had just stolen Miyama-Ryu and turned it into his own Ju-Jutsu. The ranks, the techniques, the tests were all identical. I would like to earn my rank in a traditional Miyama-Ryu dojo if possible. Keep up the good work!

Obviously, If my Father Shihan Cayetano Amato BB#20 didnt teach us ju-jutsu we wouldnt be the men that we are today. My father lives on In Me and my two older brothers. We are Bushido Ryu. I'm also Happy that the Old Jujutsu tradition is still in tact. Blessings to everyone that has been around in my childhood. and great Respect for Myama Ryu
