I studied Miyama Ryu for several years with one of Shinan Pereira's earliest black belts (Mr. Kenneth Winthrop Sr.) and, unfortunately, no longer live anywhere near a certified instructor. Do you have any video tapes available or any instructors that have moved to the Seattle, WA area (or the Pacific Northwest)? Any information would be greatly appreciated. I have been learning miyama ryu combat ju jutsu , and it has helped me alot.My teacher learned at the tremont dojo in ny and is as real as it gets.
