Having been involved in the martial arts for nearly all my life, I remember seeing an ad in Black Belt mag saying "Fear no Man." It was this ad that was Miyama-Ryu Combat JJ. I started studying Ju-Jitsu in college and continued to the present. I have incorported some of the theories and principles of Miyama-ryu and would love to study it further. After obtaining my Nidan in judo and ju-jitsu I have a better understanding of jujitsu and how it works. I thank you Miyama-ryu for continuing teachings. God Bless and hope to you see you soon.

It was a great honor being a student of Shinan Pereira. I was a student at the Tremont Dojo, From 1990 to 1993. I have taken what he has taught me and I can Proudly say This art is the most successful. It has saved my life and others on many occasions. have studied Daito Ryu Roppo Kai Aiki jujitsu, Aikido, Danzan Ryu jujitsu,and Yoshin Ryu jujitsu and find myself very interested in Miyama Ryu.
