Any info. on my line? My grandmother, Edna Randall, came from Sturgeon, P.E.I. Her father, Nathaniel, was b.1866, of Sophia Conrad (b.1844) and Nathaniel MacLaren (d. in England). Edna's father was adopted by Sophia's sister and her husband (Randalls). Sophia later m. Peter MacLeod, and had 8 more children. This is indeed an orphan family, since I know of no other documentation concerning Nathaniel MacLaren. I have a lot of info. on the Conrad family, dating back to Nova Scotia and Germany. Any leads on MY MacLarens? Thank you.

Carol has given credit where credit was due. Your website is not the only place where this information is available. Carol spent many long days at the provincial achives doing research only to have you badmouthing her on your website.
