I enjoyed the photos and stories of each of your beautiful cats. I too raise ferral cats and now total 12. I hav buried six of my beloved furbabies, 2 of them just babies. I have three that are currently missing but I'm not giving up my search of them. I have six out in the garage for the winter months and one still outdoors roaming. We are still trying to convince her to come in on her own but she refuses. She does have an outdoor shelter but she does not stay in it. I also have another shelter that is housing a mother and her two babies.

today i lost my beloved cat of 17 years at present i feel as if my world has fallen apart, you see to me he was"nt just a cat he was my best friend, we had gone through so much together, I suppose anyone reading through this site will be able to relate to how i am feeling, He was so ill and after sitting with him all through the night i knew what i had to do this morning, so i made the dreaded call to the vet, I wanted Honey to die at home and not in a surgery, Paul who came out was wonderfull and showed equal concern for me as he did for honey, I held him in my arms as he took his last breath, my sons buried him under a beautifull tree in our garden and tomorrow we will order a memorial plaque to mark his resting place, I just wanted someone to know how i am feeling today and i know the readers of this will do just that, thankyou for taking the time please think about my honey the next time you cuddle your own cat, always remember how much we love them and how we mourn them when they are gone

Thank you for the lovely web site..if someone had told me at the age of 46 that I would become a "CAT LOVER", I would have quite simply told them they were out of their minds.(I didn't even like cats)..but lo' and behold my son brings home a little long haired tabby kitten named Sam, beatiful boy and the following year, I am hitting all the animal shelters to find Sam a little brother..I bring home "Lily"- a sweet little girl..they fight now and then, but for the most part, they're good pals ..to each other and to me. Bottom line..I LOVE THOSE CATS!..that is all there is to it. Our family and my life has been enriched by our two little friends. So now I understand..I get it..all you cat lovers out there..I get it!
