I have such fond memories of this place. My mother was Nora Burleson and I haven't been back there for 25 years. We are so looking forward to visiting Ruby Ledford and family around the 3rd or 4th of September.
This is a wonderful website by the way. I have spent three hours this morning just looking at what Bakersville has to offer. I'm thinking of forwarding it to my City Manager as a great example of what can be done. It outshines my city's webpage (in my eyes at least) - check out www.melbourneflorida.org.
