I have visited Bakersville, NC many times and it is truly beautiful. It has always been fun, peaceful and interesting visiting your website. The "site pal" (woman sepaking) however is ridiculous and really bizarre. You should dump her.

Cheers to webmaster, but I would prefer dark blue color theme... it's not that I have any relations with gays (nor do I disapprove of them), just like the color. And yeah, recently I discovered a nice little trick of preventing almost all kinds of spam, and that's a double requirement for verification, the second comes after the post is submitted... well it's up to you whether to immlement it or not. Hi!! i love the web site! i miss bakersville. I use to live on stagger weed rd in the cane creek community. I always thought bakersville was so beautiful and i can't wait to come back. I found your website in January, 2005. I was then living in Asheville, Nc after moving from Florida. I enjoyed the website so much that I drove up and checked out the area, which I immediately fell in love with. I began searching for real estate, and settled for an older (1910) home on NC 80, which although it is not in Bakersville proper, IS in Mitchell County. I closed on my home in May, 2005, and could not be happier than I am living in this area. Thank you for your wonderful website.
