It is good to visit the Bakersville web site once more. I am already looking forward to some upcoming trips to the area to do some mountain trout fishing and I am sure that Little Rock Creek and Cane Creek will be destinations in that regard. I continue to live in the Charlotte area with my wife Diane and I currently perform in professional opera productions as a member of the Opera Carolina Chorus. A future musical engagement will be a second opportunity to perform at New York City's Carnegie Hall later this year at a performance in which my church choir director will be conductor. I always draw musical inspiration from trips to the mountains--especially excursions taken to the beautiful Bakersville area where friendly people, solitude, and fabulous scenery can be found in abundance.
