Hello again, I must return to this site often it makes me feel at home.My father's and mother's family were from Mitchell, County. I'm looking for any information on Russell Burleson no birth or date available. He was married (no date) to Maggie Buchanan her birth date 08-07-1885 death date 10-16-1968. Maggie lived in the Glen Ayer area, she is my Great-Grandmother on my mother's side. One of their children was Sena Jane Burleson Edwards my Grandmother, she was married to William Brisco (Sid) Edwards, both deceased.Any information on Russell would be greatly appreciated. (I miss the mountains)

Bakersville holds a lot of memories for me. I grew up in the Green Cove. I had two wonderful parents (Fred and Doris Dellinger.) They are both gone to be with the Lord. I loved them both dearly and I miss them so much. I graduated Bowman HS in 1962 and got married soon after to Larry Street of Buladean. We have lived in TN for 30 odd years. We have four wonderful children, three boys and one girl. We also have six grandchildren. I have one brother, Deward Dellinger who lives on Cane Creek. I don't get up there much any more. I would like to go spend some time with him before long.
