I logged out of this site with a heavy heart last week - comments from Boot polish Harry confirming that another turgid season of banal footy banter was only a few weeks away. After many days and nights of in depth research and soul searching since last weekend, I have come up with the only explanation I can find for this recent string of dreadful results (well, if you can call the last 4 YEARS 'recent') and that is .... there just isn't enough SLOGGING !!!! ....oh yeah, you think about it for a minute - am I wrong ?!?!? Just go out there tomorrow and give it some wellie - it always for us in the old days !!!!! ... and GOOD LUCK.

Most interested to read of the return of the Cayman branch to English shores. Judged by the wholly underwhelming response, the masses will not be flocking to the Rec next year, to see his military medium long hops. Could I therefore extend the olive branch of hope, and offer him a contract, at whatever terms he likes, to join me and the boys at The Tavern0 for some winter sport. I have a vision of reuniting him and the boy Harris at the heart of my defence in 2003. See - its not just my ever changing barnet that gives cause for laughter.
