What can you say? A blast from the past and a fantastic day had by all! Again Mr Drury, a top drawer match report, had stiches. Well done to the millers. Great bowling display from the postie, always delivers in rain or shine and some sublime batting from the big ladd, meeky and big baker etc.A tight game in the sunshine which brought a tear to my eye, Great to see the wheels falling off at the premiers to be. Sadly not on that performance, must have been a rehearshal for how to lose league games into the close season. Southnotts forever!!!!!

Can we ask the farmer who owns the field next to the plums ground to open it up for the semi for car parking as it was obvious yesterday that they aren't used to big crowds. Standing room only at one stage during the afternoon. Thankfully Mrs Baker gave up her seat for me in exchange for a bit of babysitting !
