Comments:
'Nasty' Bob, Fantastic bowling from Liam, but three points were noted by the team when votes were cast: 1. Sitting on the boundary fence when fielding; 2. Moaning about not being able to bat at tea because of a bruised finger, then forgeting about it when the time came; 3. Above all wearing a ridiculous monkey gangsta-rap hat before and after the game. Personally my vote went to Paul Lay, but Sheriff Hallam wasn't happy about his footwork on a half chance

Drury, on a postage stamp I can't believe you've taken the MOM award off Liam Elliott.Batting at the end with Dave Hallam & only going at four runs per over, taking 3 wickets on the leagues smallest ground! 3 wkts = 60 runs in the breakdown. You scored 56, no doubt cost 20 in the field = 36. Fans MOM = The Cabbage Patch Kid!!!

A pleasant few hours spent in Upper Broughton this savvy. Testimonial type batting from Tinno and star all-rounder Ball posted an unlikely 244 on an uneven wicket.
Attacking field placing always kept Awsworth in the game until a brilliant run out from Renders clinched the tie.
A no show from Drury, with white clouds gathering was always on the cards. Available for selection but not supporting as he failed to make the supporters bus.
What now for a game at Plumtree!!
