I sense a like spirit in you (love of one's location) except my love happens to be the City of New York. As it happens,I am doing research on a murder that actually took place on or around Fort Edward,NY in 1777. The victims name was Jane McCrae and the murder was never actually solved although blame was put on the British and their indian allies. I contacted the NY State Library for help which is how I came to get a picture postcard of the monument to her death,I assume from your collection. I am a collector of various things, especially memoriabalia but not postcards unless they happen to be germane. However,as a collector I can appreciate what you have done and just wanted you to know that "somewhere out there" there is a kindred spirit. (me) I may, when the weather gets cooler, visit Fort Edward to view the monument and do whatever local research on the subject I can.If it's conducive to both of us I might even "drop by" to say hello. In the meantime, have a safe and enjoyable summer and,if you can think of anything that might aid me in my research I would appreciate "hearing" from you. Thanks again, Jacques
