Saw your Struble house postcard online. Thank you so much for sharing. I am the historian of the hamlet of Conquest. I do not have this postcard so if you are ever thinking of selling I would like a shot at bidding. Mr. Struble was killed on this farm, dragged by a team of horses. His widow moved to the village about half a mile away. The property was purchased by the Baker family who raised their eight children there. It is now owned by a Mennonite family, the Horsts who have made some changes to the home and outbuildings.

very very nice, love the content. This helps me so much; my 95yr old Grandmother is from Brooklyn and often talks about the "old days". She still lives alone in her apt, next to Prospect Park

Alan, Found your web site by accident, spent hours looking at your collection of postcards(Photos) of Syracuse. I was an immigrant in the 1950's and settled in Syracuse grow up and left at 19. Recently I have been thinking about all the places I've been and Syracuse is no doubt my favorite I guess I still think of it as my home. I would like to thank you again for letting people like me view your collection and reminisce...Thanks

I have a mini collection and Rochester is my home town. Any photos of Flower City Park from the late 1800's through the 40"s?
