Please keep on with the fight. Sometimes it seems as though justice keeps failing us and also fails the children in the process. It is a darn shame. I read through your whole story and feel so badly for what your family is going through. My husband and I have recently started considering being foster parents but when I hear about the down side, the lack of support and help for foster parents that are falsely accused, it makes me want to re-think the whole idea. We still have not made a decision either way. We badly want to give an child in an unfortunate situation a happy, healthy home to live in----even if only for a short time. I feel like I have read my own story. My family is going though the same thing. I loved my children and they where taken because of a 10 year old child. I cry daily.

We are just in the intial stages of becoming Foster Parents and, yes, have been warned of accusations. This, of course, is one of our fears. Thank you for this website that really explains what happens and my heart goes out to all who have been through this tough situation.

I feel for you. Things are about the same here in California. My husband and I are going through a similar situation. When it's over, I want to try to do something to change the laws in order to protect foster parents...even though we have no intention of EVER doing foster care again. You are in my prayers...please keep my family in your prayers.

In the best interest of the children. They are so careful to protect the kids and themselves, that they go overboard. How many people are hurt because of over zealousness on the part of an agency, or indifference on the part of an agency. My heart goes out to you, continue the good fight if you can.
