From the entries here, apparently, many foster/adoptive parents have been systematically confronted with the same abridgements of rights as we biologically related family members: A) Infingement of consitutionally protected rigts; B) Meddlesomeness; C) Heavy-handedness; Coercion; TRYANNY. All speak to exactly what many a biologically related parent, grandparent, et.al., were dealt behind "closed" doors of bureaucratic, courtroom, proceedings. A great many of whom lost beloved offspring owing to that. Factis the system "chews up, and, then, spits out" anything and ANYONE in its path.

I am a Foster Care worker for an agency here and have had to deal with allegations of abuse by carers. It was with great interest I have looked at your web site. Please don't assume that your agency workers don't want to give you as much support as you need but our hands may be tied by agency policies and government agency policies. keep up the great work your doing for the children who need you.

My husband and I were 1 week away from adopting a set of twins that had been in our home for 18 months. When someone made an accustion against my husband that was untrue. The GA said that he saw no problem with keeping the kids in our family but the caseworker thought otherwise.
