First of all my heart goes out to you and your family. Nothing is worse than being accused of something you didnt do. But the worst thing is you cant prove youself innocent. In our judicial system we are innocent until proven guilty not foster parents. We are guilty and and cant prove ourselves innocent. My family has been in foster care for eleven years. We have been investigated three times. I'm currently being investigated as I speak. Here in Kansas we go through two investigations one by SRS and then another investigation by Kansas Dept of Environment. Even if SRS unsubstantiates the allegation KDH&E still does their investigation to make sure no regulation have been broke. Then your foster care agency gets involved and type up a document called Personal Development Plan. And you either sign this or other action is taken against you. There is NO appeal process for foster parents. Your just Gulity. A murderer has more rights then us foster parents do. Some of these kids have been in the system most their lives and have learn how to manipuate the system to get what they want. If they dont like you or your rules they play the blame game. They know all they have to is accuse you (the foster parents)of physical or sexual abuse and they will be moved. The day is coming when the number of foster homes will on the decline and no place to house these kids then they'll find themselves with a really big problem. I would really like you hear from you. Thanks for your story. I am a single, never married mom. I have adopted 3 children thus far and only one has made numerous allegations all of which were unfounded until the most recent. She is a RAD child and a habitual liar as well. I have gone through the expoungment process once already and have been waiting for the latest decision for the past 14 months. I am eager to get on with our family's lives and continue medical needs adoption and fostering if the outcome is favorable. But, they still hold the fate of my future in their hands. WE JUST DONT UNDERSTAND WHY O.C.S CAME IN OUR HOME LAST NIGHT AT 9 PM AND REMOVED ALL FOUR OF OUR GRANDCHILDREN THE ONLY THING THEY WILL TELL ME IS THERE HAS BEEN A ALLEGATION WE DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IT IS ABOUT OUR HEARTS ARE VERY SAID BEACUSE THEY TOOK OUR BABYS WE HAVE HAD THEM IN OUR HOME FOR 1 YEAR NOW .DO YOU KNOW WHAT WE CAN DO TO GET OUR BABYS BACK HOME!!!!!

I was looking for information on foster to adopt. We have had two siblings for four months last evening we found out the agency plan to move these to a home they don't know in with a half sibling they don't know that was adopted through foster care. Any information on this issue?
