As i read your web page the tears where so hard to control.Iknow the pain you feel as my foster home was closed because one of my 6 children had an accident with a curling iron with me sitting there,I was found to have been accused of neglet and lack of supervision.Idont even understand how they came up with that I was sitting right there.Ihad just turned around to check the babies.Dfacs makes you feel like a crimial.No one wants to talk about it with you at the agency.What willit take to change the system .And for foster parents to be heard. I have spoke to our state president of foster care,county comm, and state comm, i have since contacted the state senator.Our state senator has been on my side, So has the state foster parentassoc.president.I have started people and family to write the state comm.Something needs to be done.Fosterparents such as yourself and me are just not heard.What is it going to take for allfoster parents to be heard ?what can we alldo Its not fare to good foster parents who give of themselves to be treated like we are the worse people in this world when a child makes faulse statements, or as a accident. My heart goes out to you and allthe other parents .I feel your pain.we as foster parents need to be heard. we must continue to pray for our children and maybe someone willhere us. I wll not give up and please dont you .

I'm very sorry for all that your going through. My husband and i have recently been discussing becoming a Foster Parent. This is something to think about. And most surely PRAY about.

What is the Attorney General Betty Montgomery doing about this injustice? Here in America, where many died defended our rights, we are now allowing the local Dept. of Human Services the right to be God, Judge, and Jury?? Please! (Betty Montgomery and the County Commissioner's never thought anything about cutting a deal for Woods Director Donald Guy, instead of prosecuting him) This happened to my neighbor's home. I had never heard of 'indicated' until then. NO real investigation. Just take the foster kids, run and hide. The agency will not communicate with the foster parents. I guess the 'witch hunts' days are over and this has replaced them. $$$, this is always the reason, follow the money trail. This must be why foster parents numbers are dropping --fostering has become too risky! Linda, have you tried oicketing? It can be affective. What does the County Commissioner's say about this? What is the news media doing with this story? What has the Cleveland Plain Dealer done? This 'indicated' needs addressed by the State of Ohio! Any comments from Gov. Bob Taft? Oh well what can we the voters and taxpayers expect. God Bless you, and all other's who has suffered from this evil act. Power breeds corruption.

There is a need for a Foster Parent coalition to hear and resolve false allegations and flase non-compliance closure of foster parents home for foster care.Unresolved situations should be referred to the office of the state attorney general for blackballing and blacklisting your home.
