We were told that if a child recants the story, it must be because coersion as used No one believes that he/she might just decide to tell te truth. I am so sorry you are going threw this. Believe me Md is no better, as i'm sure most other states aren't either. DSS gets about 1,600.00 a month for 7 yrs. for each abuse case that gets reported. Their payrolls are so big, that it they don't keep things rolling how can they keep their jobs. Pull up on your puter about FL.I agree, laws should be changed. Someone should investigate DSS. They make their own laws. Best of luck to you and your family. We have been there and know how you are feeling. You will also find that our elected officials stay away from DSS.
