I have put in a bit about Liverton
House recently, but, alas, have no
photograph to go at the head. I
did take one, with a disposable
camera, but found that the film had
run out!
Is there anybody kind enough to send
me two preferably, one from the War
Memorial and a close-up of the name?
I do not have a computer, only cable
TV, so it would have to be by post
to Ivor H. Leverton, 26, Heath Road,
Potters Bar, Herts, EN6 1LW. I
really would be grateful

G'Day from NZ
As an ex resident who worked in the pubs of Dolton while on my working holiday in the UK, stumbled across your site by accident.
Great to see the photos of the carnival nights, had some great times those nights working in the pub.
Hope to be back over next year for a holiday and to catch up with everyone.

Good site. I would be interested to hear from anyone who knew the Grazier Beasley family who lived at Partridge Walls between 1967 /1973-4.Peter-Pat-Andy Grazier. Patrick-Victoria-Jacky Beasley.

I have just been looking at your site because my partner and I intend visiting in the summer. The main reason for the visit is that my family lived in or around the village between the 1560's and the 1760's. We look forward to seeing the village then. John.

Was so very excited to see on your maps
the farm Halfpennyland. My gtgrpas lived at Halfpennyland which I thought was in Ashreigney. I knew it was in the Riddlecombe direction from the 1851 census of Ashreigney. Maybe someone can explain if it is beyond the Dolton border. The couple were Thos. Jury and Elizabeth Lee. He was b. in Beaford & she in Ashreigney.
