Hello, Dolton. My wife's mother was a Budd and we have some documentation about a house in Dolton known as Court House. My wife's G-G-Grandfather was born there.(David Daniel Budd 1837-1910) In 1873 he married Elizabeth Flexman Hicks 1840-1926. Could you please help with this quest? Well how bizarre, here I am researching the telecommunications theory (should be that is) and I stumble across our very own web site for the great village that is Dolton. Glad to see someone took the initiative and slapped up this site, there I was always thinking the village was run by old fossils with relatively little knowledge of such technological advances in our life time such as the internet, a distant call from Stone Age devices like the old “wireless”. I’m impressed. But this site seems to be lacking some personality; it needs more emphasis on what happens in the village, where its heart is, the people who live there, just some constructive criticism!
