I found your remarkable site whilst researching our family tree. I think my G Grandfather was born at Petrockstowe (William Henry Folland) and raised his family in the area. Have just visited your site for the first time. As an evacuee during the war staying with the Mardon's it was good to see some old pictures with Derek in and other faces I recognised. It's many year's now since I last visited. Is Derek Mardon still around?

i loved your site i am 15 and i was tracing my family history and i was trying to find out where my last name ,dolton, came from . my ancestors are all from england so i belive that there might be some connection to my name and the town. it was a fun site. all the pictures are super.
