I loved reading about your journey. Your sisterlocks are fabulous girl. I have had my sterlocks about 3 months now. I had about 1 1/2 to 2 inches of new growth and about 2-3 inches of permed hair. My hair was also dyed blond. My journey has been slow because as you know the permed ends require some maintenance (curling/rolling) to look neat. I must admit I have been a little afraid of what my hair will look like after the perm ends are gone. I guess I too have been brainwashed into thinking my hair has to be straight to be pretty. After reading about your journey I look forward to my own transition from permed ends to all natural sisterlocks. You go girl you know you are looking good.
