I loved viewing and reading about your journey.Your hair is beautiful! Your journey answered lots of questions that I had. I cut all the perm off and now i have a little more than three inches of natural growth. I proudly wear my fro. However, I am eagerly waithing to get my sisterlocks. I will hopefully have them the week after Christmas. I have never seen hair that short in sisterlocks. where can I view pics of very short sisterlocks?

Hi, Thanks for sharing your pics I get my test locks today and looking at all your pictures have made me even more comfortable. I've been in braids for 15 years and never thought I would lock my hair until I seen the sisterlocks, but really thanks for sharing your journey it was nice to see what they look like in the begining instead of years. Happy Holidays and will be looking for the glammed up photos you take for the Holidays

I am not doing Sisterlocks, but loved your experience. i wore my hair twisted for more than a year, then just started the regular lock process last week. i enjoyed twisties and look forward to enjoying locks. not sure I will do Sisterlocks, but i said that i would never do locks, but am now. i know too that since i have done this locing, i will have to cut it off to do Sisterlocks.

Hello Sandy,
as a Sandi my self I too am on a journey, I have had my locks for about 2 mos now, and I am still trying to get used to them. I am begining to like not having to do anything though. My hair is very thin and fine so it still has not locked in the top yet, the back has locked perfectly. I am thinking of taking a course in locking so that I can maintain my hair. Well I look forward to hearing more about your journey. --------- Sandi

Dear Sandy,
Your website has really helped with my decision to get Sisterlocs. I have been looking and thinking about them since 2002! Watching your progression has been great, thank you for the website. Today I went it to Everrette's and had my consultation with Sheila. I keep touching and looking at my little "sample locs". I go back in 12/19 for the real thing and I am soooo excited! Thanks again for all the information and pictures on your site!! Your hair is beautiful! I look forward to my crossing over.
