I have been thinking I may not like them right away, but it is a means to an end. I have about two months worth a new growth and if I could survive this I know I am well on my way. I really enjoyed reading your sisterlock journey! As of right now I have braids in my hair but as soon as I get them out I'm scheduling a consultation. I'm a little nervous b/c I work with predominately white people and I've already gotten enough questions about my hair now; wait until they see this! Oh well...I'm tired of Relaxers! Thank you.

I just wanted to say go ahead with your bad self. You really look nice in your locks. I also want to thank you for taking the time to share your journey from the beginning to the end, I really enjoyed seeing all the pictures. It has really helped me make my decision with getting the sister locks, I cant wait. My consultation appointment is Oct. 3 and I get the initial locks on Oct. 14, I'm excited. Continue to take care of those lovely sister locks as well as yourself.

Thanks for allowing us to view your journey. I have had sister locks for a little under a year and I just got the permed ends cut off.I now have about five inches of locks (grey and black) and they look cool! My hair feels soft and fluffy. I go to Pam Everette at Everette's in Detroit and she has been a real gem about keeping me focused on the prize, which is a head full of healthy, lovely locks. By the way, Pam says that any color will dry out your hair, so we might as well go grey fox all the way!!

Hello, I just wanted to write to say a hugh THANK you for allowing us to follow you through your journey. I am currently natualy and have been wearing my hear naturl for about 10 months. I have micro braids now but have been trying to decide what to do with my hair once I'm done with the braids. I am at a cross between SisterLocks and Nubian Locs. After viewing your pictures and your journey, I think I will opt for the SisterLocks. they are so adorable and I love the 5 year pictures. I want my hair to look just like that! Your hair is so healthy and shiny. Who says natural hair isn't cute??? thank you and I have bookmarked your page so that I can come back and check you out from time to time. God bless you!
