Hi, Thank you so much for posting your journey. I'm 26 and have had too many hairstyles to name and now I'm just exhausted with trying to figure out what to do next. This sounds awful, but I've been a slave to my hair for too long. I can't swim, workout, or just go without trying to figure out what the heck to do with my hair. I've been doing some research and your pictoral journal has been the most helpful. I'd always been leary of getting locks because I didn't want to have a sudden change of heart and have to cut them all off, but seeing the versatility of Sisterlocks has made the decision a lot easier. Your hair is Beautiful!

Hi Sandy, I have been natural on and off for 4 years now. I first started my natural hair journey in 2004 and was natural for about 2 years in which I wore twists 99% of the time. My hair grew to shoulder length. However, I had a dumb thought to relax my hair again into a really short cut. I am a sucker for short cuts. As of the summer of 2007 I decided that I would go natural again and stay natural. My hair is growing very nicely I might say. I was doing a search on sisterlocks because I am thinking seriously about getting them. I thank you for documenting your hair journey because there a lot of women that needs to see that their own natural hair is beautiful and it does grow long. Right now I am doing a search for a sisterlock consultant in my area. I know that they will look beautiful just as your hair does. Thank you so much Sandy. You are truly an inspiration.

I really enjoyed your blog from beginning to end. I am thinking about changing to sister locks. I have been relaxer-free for 18 months now, and keep a low afro. I miss my ling hair however, and I think sister locks will be the answer to this. Your hair is so beautiful!! Thanks for the inspiration.
