Hi both myself and my friend did our sister locks together on December 8th and 9th 2007. We are extremely happy with how our hair looks now and both receive many compliments.Our partners love it. Both of us have been natural for many years prior. Your site has been stimulating and informative as to the products that can be used in the hair and ways to wash and style it. It is 3 months since I locked and I have not yet got the courage to wash my hair yet but feel that I can do so now that I have read your site. God bless you for your inspiration to others.

This proves that black women can grow long hair - just in a different manner without all the chemecial, weaves, and wigs. I love your hair - it is so beautiful. I can't wait for my hair to grow a few more inches so I can get sisterlocks as well. I wish I had known about Sisterlocks a few years back when I was in search of ways to grow my hair out.

I forgot to mention that I have not had a relaxer on my hair since December 6, 2006 and prior to me getting my Sisterlocks two (2) weeks and three (3) days ago, I was wearing a TWA. I am loving my locs and can't wait until my 6 months anniversary.
