Please don't be mad at me, but while searching for some inspirational SisterLock pics, I stumbled upon your site and "borrowed" a couple! I will delete them if you want, but your site answered my biggest question of how fast the locks grow. I also want to compliment you about the relaxed ends you had! I didn't know you still had relaxed ends until you said something! I have a million more questions but I think this post is long enough! Sorry, and thanks!

Hi Sandy, I am new to the Sisterlocks journey - I have had my SLs in for about 15 months. I enjoyed looking at your photo journey as I too started with about the minimally required amount of new growth - 1 1/2 to 2 inches with the rest of my length being relaxed. I was SOOOO happy when I was able to get them cut off. Your hair is beautiful!! I've nto had a grooming session yet so I look forward to thata mor manicured look. I like that look as compared to the fuzziness that I have now. I think it is still my hair maturing so I'll be glad when they have matured. I look forward to 5 years of beautiful healthy natural hair! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, you're sisterlocks look great!! I'm about to get mine on Sept 21st. I'm so glad that you took so many pictures of your journey. It's funny though...as time went on, you seemed to have gotten younger and younger and younger!!
