Sandy,
The photos of your Sisterlocks are gorgeous and the documentation of your journey is truly awe inspiring.
My Sisterlocks birthday is 2/10/07 and I have been LIBERATED and truly loving life for the last 6 months. Sometimes I wonder what took me so long to do this. Anyway, to all of the locked sisters who read this, be it Sisterlocks, traditional locks or otherwise...
LOCK ON SISTERS, LOCK ON!!!!!

Sandy,
I enjoyed viewing your sisterlock journey. I have been wearing sisterlocks for 3 months. Like you, I enjoy wearing them free-style. My locktician explained that my texture hair will take about 1 year or longer to lock. I shall wait patiently. Thanks again for sharing your journey.

Hi Sandy,
I was browsing the internet today looking at the various hsirstyles sisterlocks has when I came across you journey. I was already inspired, but I bacame even more. You see I began my journey this past week 21 July 2007. We have the same birthday, seven years apart. Your documentation is outstanding. Who would have thought our natural hair could be so beautiful. I thank God for Dr. Cornwell, she is truely amazing. I had been contemplating locking my hair for the past year. I am really glad I did.
Thank you for sharing you...Pamela Frost

i love the journal you wrote about your sisterlocks. I had the same issues you had with your hair about perming, pressing, and processing. Several years ago, I stopped perming my hair and let it grow naturally. After that I took a pair of scissors and whacked the remaining perm out of my hair. My only reget is i would have it done years ago.
