I still enjoy seeing shows featuring Bill Cullen on the Game Show Network! In fact, I am currently watching him on FAMILY FEUD from back in the late 70s/early 80s. I think my favorite show was the original PRICE IS RIGHT!

I was young when Eye Guess was on the air and used to watch it with my Mother. The easy, humorous manner in which he hosted the show inspired me to want to host my own show. I am still trying today! I was saddened to hear of his passing, although I only heard of it recently (always wanted to know what happened to him) Definately one of a kind. If there are game shows in heaven, he is hosting it, with Gene Rayburn as his sidekick. Thanks for this web site, you have done a great job. PS-Now, if GSN would bring back the Sunday Night in black & white block of shows instead of just the one hour deal they are doing now...

Thank you for this website. Game shows always seem to be looked down upon, yet they're consistently the more popular shows around. And Bill Cullen was class. My mother always said no matter what show it was it was always better with Bill Cullen in it. I agree wholeheartedly. I always thought of him as a funny uncle - he'd come over, pass out presents, make you laugh. You always felt better when you saw him. He was such a part of my growing up (I watched almost every game show I could, still do) that when I found out he died I felt I lost a dear, special friend. No one doing game shows today can hold a candle to Bill Cullen. He truly is one of the irreplaceable ones.

I've always felt that this early TV pioneer deserved his own website and about a year ago I was seriously considering starting a Bill Cullen website. When I came across this one I thought, I can't top this !!! Bill Cullen was a true professional who was able to put his often nervous contestants at ease with a kind word and a smile. His enthusiasm was contagious and watching him, one can see how much he enjoyed himself. We are lucky to have his legacy of work left to us on film and videotape. If he were still around, I'm sure he'd be pleased to know that after all these years, he is still remembered.
