Hello Fred, you ran into a buzz-saw on Jeop..But I did learn that you have this web-site!..Bill Cullen was indeed a great guy, I remember him well..and I
somehow liked him better as a panelist than as an emcee..Especially on TTTT..
But he was always a class act.

I really enjoyed Bill's easy relaxed style on the Price is Right-
his ability to make the contestants
comfortable and his kidding with the models- Anne and June as I recall-
remember him kidding them about how their knees looked funny on a camera closeup-
wish there more like him around today-
a different era sorely missed!

GREAT site / and lots of wonderful info. Thank you.
My dad appeared on TTTT in the spring of 75, and I have pics of the tape posted on my website.. The show had Garry Moore, Peggy Cass, Bill Cullen, Kitty Carlisle and ?????. I have gone thru pages and pages of the panelists - - and cannot figure out who the man is. The tape is not easily assessible. So if you check the page and have a clue?? please let me know. THANKS.
PS, I do not think it is Larry Blyden.

My best memory of Bill had to be once on TJW, during his first season. Don't ask me why, but him asking a Star Wars question still sticks out in my mind to this day (I was either 9 or 10 at the time, can't remember when exactly it aired during the season). I forget what the question was, but after that question, Bill's mention of Darth Vader being Luke's father was the first I had ever heard of that. That could be why I remember that moment so well....

I think that Bill Cullen was a great emcee and I also loved his great personalities and his hilarites which made us all laugh sometimes. Bill will always be remembered as an all-time favorite emcee and no other emcees like
Todd Newton, Kennedy or other emcees of today will ever be like Bill was. I really miss you, Bill.
