"Pepper" is our first ACD and ohmigod how she has transformed our lives!!! I used to work late, but now I can't wait to get home to play with our new beast. My daughter who is a junior in college actually has conversations with the dog by cell phone. My 35-year old son, who has never been a big fan of indoor dogs, is nuts over her. The 29 year-old son, a third year surgical resident, spends as much time as possible training her. And the 18 year-old son has been heard by many speaking a sort of babytalk to her!!! Is this normal behavior for ACD owners?
